It isn’t what I believe, but they believe that it’s OK because the fetuses are ‘innocent’ and the doctor is not. And that if killing one doctor will save many fetuses, then it is justifiable.
(It is a fact that most of the fetuses that Dr Tiller aborted had terrible abnormalities and would not have survived long after birth, possibly in great pain and suffering, or would probably have died due to the mother’s life being at risk. This doesn’t come into the equation either.)
Its not ok to kill anyone.
I do not condone the murder of Dr. Tiller. That said, the line of reasoning is that killing an abortionist prevents him from killing babies. I think abortion is a terrible thing, but I realize it is often a choice borne out of other terrible things.
