About Me

Almost Summer. New bio.

I’m 53. I have one autistic son, who is 13. He is the best thing I’ve ever collaborated on. I live in Belfast and have done so for nearly 20  years.  I’m American. I still sound American. Except when saying some words and I definitely speak Irish English, as opposed to American English.

I met my husband on the internet in 2000ish. We’ve been married for 17 years, together for 20.

I’m queer. I guess if you force me, I’ll say I’m bisexual, but I’m not really. I fall for a person not a gender. So some may say I’m pan. But I call myself queer.

My husband and I are monogamous. I’m still queer.

I’m a graphic artist. I’m a writer. I’m a knitter. I’m a sewer. I’m a crocheter. I’m a weaver. I’m a tapestry creator. I’m a jeweller. I’m a beader. I am hoping to become a spinner.

I’m also an Office Manager. Part time, at least.

I’m a feminist. I’m to the left of centre, fairly far, but not as far as some.

I’m disabled. I have Fibromyalgia and arthritis and other joint issues. I’m also a Type 2 diabetic and I have EPI. If you know anything about EPI and Diabetes you’ll know why my gastro looked intrigued and confirmed who my diabetes doc was. It’s because the he had never heard of both things happening to the same pancreas.

I’m mentally ill. I have Anxiety Disorder, Borderline Agoraphobia, and Clinical Depression. I take a lot of meds every day to keep my brain in check.

I am not a Republican or a Democrat. I’m a combination thereof.

I do vote in the US big elections. I am not allowed to vote in the UK/NI elections because I am not a citizen. I have an Indefinite  Leave to Remain Visa for the UK. My ILR lets me do everything a citizen can do except vote or carry a passport. I do wish I could vote, but not enough to spend over £1k and have to pass a test that most natural born citizens can’t pass.

This blog, this website, is about me, my ideas, my company, my design, my health issues, and my fan squeals. I write fanfiction as well as currently working on a book set in my own universe.

You can find me online, pretty much everywhere, as Tee2072. Except Tumblr. That’s under Designed To A Tee. I have no idea why I did that, but I did. It’s starting to bug me a bit and I may create another Tumblr under Tee2072. But I may not.

I Tweet, I Tumbl (rarely), I Facebook, I Instagram (occasionally) and I Pin (sometimes).

I have strong opinions. I have radical ideas. I curse. A lot. I don’t suffer fools and stupidity gladly.

Don’t like something I say? Tell me why. I may argue. I may ignore. I may call you on an idea that is disgusting to me. I will try to never block you or prevent you from posting.

I do have the site on ‘first comment must be moderated’. It’s the best way to catch the SPAM the filters don’t. But once you comment, I’ll let you comment all the time. Even if I think you’re thick and boring. 😉

However, at the end of the day? This is my blog. So it’s not censorship if I go back on the above and delete your ass from my life. It’s the advantage of the internet.

Oh if you quote the First Amendment at me? I’ll definitely block your ass. You know why? Because you are, by default, stupid for not knowing that the First Amendment refers to governments and governmental or public bodies. Not the internet and certainly not my site.

I will also fight like hell to let you say what you want to say whether I like it or not.

Contradictory? Probably. Again…my blog.

One last thing: the fanfic I write tends to be slashy and full of sex. If you don’t like that? Don’t read it. There’s plenty of fan fiction I avoid because I don’t like it. It’s not that hard to do.
